OTHER FAQ's
HOW LONG DOES A GROOMING SESSION NORMALLY TAKE?
It is difficult to give an exact time frame, as each dog is different.
A basic wash and dry generally takes anything from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the dog.
A Full Groom or De-shed will take between 1.5 hrs and 2 hrs, again, depending on the dog.
DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICE FOR ANXIOUS DOGS?
Yes.
We have found that anxious dogs is not all that uncommon. If a dog is getting stressed, the groomer will stop, gently hold the dog’s head and looking it in the eyes, comforts the dog and allows him/her to settle. Then we will continue the grooming process.
However, there are times where a dog may need some calming medication prior to a groom – if you are unsure about your dog’s anxiety, consult your vet.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
We use some of the best brands of Dog Shampoos and Conditioners, mainly PETWAY. These are of a professional standard and are safe for all dog types.
We also carry a range of medicated shampoos which includes: Malaseb; Aloveen; Pyohex asl well as some PAW products.
Very rarely will a dog have an allergic reaction to a product. Should this happen, we stop using it immediately.
